ABOUT CREATIVE COMPASS LLC
At Creative Compass, our curriculum is geared toward each age group we serve. When planning, we take into consideration the developmental ages, strengths, needs, and interests of each class to better promote learning and development. As students progress from our 3 year old class, all the way to our Pre-K class, they build the foundation of skills they will need to not only do well, but excel in Kindergarten. They leave Mrs. Brittany and Mrs. Tess fully equipped with social skills, academic skills, and problem solving abilities that will help them throughout their lives.

When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Preschool, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Class sizes are typically 5:1 which is a rarity in our area. It is VERY important to us that our students have the attention they need, and don't get overlooked by being lost in a sea of other children.
We welcome parents at any time, and encourage them to stop in whenever they need to. Our door is always open.
We have a set schedule for each day so our students know what to expect in class. Children thrive on routine, and by having a consistent, predictable day, we allow them the comfortability to learn and feel safe.

STEM ACTIVITIES
STEM Learning is so important in this day and age. Children are surrounded by technology and early STEM learning helps them build the foundation they need to be successful in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. We are proud to be giving our students the building blocks to thrive in those areas.
ART LESSONS
Art is one of the easiest ways for kids to have fun while learning. We at Creative Compass believe that art is essential in teaching a child to express themselves. We love giving them the tools they need, and the framework for the lesson and watching the amazing things they do with it!
IMAGINATIVE PLAY
Imaginative Play is so much fun for students. They can use our "Dress Up" items as well as our kitchen, and tool bench to have some creative play. It may seem like this is just playing, but by inviting children to use their imaginations and "pretend", we allow them to develop verbal skills and problem solving. Imaginative Play also gives children the opportunity to develop their empathy and other emotions in a safe, supervised environment.
LITERACY
Teaching the alphabet is not just about learning the "ABC song". We focus on each letter and its sounds. Students learn the letters that make up their name, and learn how to recognize and write their name. Once they are ready, they learn sight words,and rhyming words. Our students are read to every day in class.
